With shooting scheduled to begin soon for the sequel Transformers 3, Michael Bay and Paramount are out on a hunt to replace Megan Fox as Shia LeBeouf’s love interest. Now, it is already unclear if Fox left on her own accord or she was dropped, but whatever the case may be, the spot is open in the film, and already two women are topping the rumor mill as possibilities.
According to ComicBookMovie.com, Katie Cassidy has been leaked to be Michael Bay’s favorite choice for the actress. They claim a source said, “Michael worked with Katie on A Nightmare On Elm Street and he sees her as the perfect choice. Megan was unknown when she was cast in the first Transformers and Katie is in that same mold.”
However, New York Magazine and Geek Week have another leading lady in mind. They are saying that sources have said that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is up for the part. Huntington-Whiteley is better known as a Victoria’s Secret model and girlfriend to Jason Statham.
