There is speculation that Megan Fox chose not to join the cast of Transformers 3 because she wanted a pay rise.
Last week, it was announced that Fox would not be reprising her role in the third instalment in the action franchise.
“Megan only got $800,000 for Transformers 2… I guarantee you, that’s why she didn’t do the third one. She wanted more money,’ E Online quotes a source as saying.
However, other sources have alleged that it was director Michael Bay’s behaviour towards Fox that influenced her decision.
‘This was never about money. It’s always been how she was treated as a human being – it just wasn’t good,’ another source commented.
‘Bay would constantly scream at her. He would scream at everyone, but especially Megan. Imagine a really, really bitchy grandmother on the set, and that’s what Michael Bay is like.’
